Dr Soumya Swaminathan, Chairperson of MSSRF, visited Koraput from February 15-17, 2023, and spent considerable time with community stakeholders in villages where MSSRF has worked for almost 2.5 decades. She met with Community Hunger Fighters, Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) workers, health workers, Auxiliary Nurses and Midwives (ANM) and Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) on February 16, to understand the current situation of tribal health and nutrition at Ramaguda village, Mathpada Gram Panchayat (GP), Boipariguda Block. During her visit in Koraput district, she also visited a few ICDS centres, and the Health and Wealth Centres at Mirjaguda Village, Mathpada GP, Boipariguda Block, and interacted with doctors, ANMs and staff nurses.
